Functional skills Speaking and Listening assessment requirements

We recently announced some changes to the assessment requirements for ESOL Speaking and Listening tests.

Following a number of customer queries, we’d like to confirm that the requirement to record Speaking and Listening assessments applies to our ESOL tests only. This requirement does not apply to the functional skills Speaking and Listening tests.

Centres delivering the Edexcel functional skills Speaking and Listening tests are not required to submit learner recordings.
