Functional skills | Information and Communication Technology

Information and Communication Technology   Functional skills in ICT is assessed by a single computer-based test. This must be accompanied by a Confirmation of Candidate Performance / Witness Statement.

Our Draft Pilot Specification, past papers and teaching and learning resources can be found below.

Please note that we’ll be making our final draft specifications and sample assessment materials, for teaching from September 2010, available to view online by the 6th April. We are continuing to consult with hundreds of teachers and learners on our pilot, to further develop and refine our Functional Skills assessment. Our aim is to give every learner the fairest chance of attaining a Functional Skills qualification, with the clearest and most accessible papers.
