These qualifications are designed to enhance learners' work and life skills within a vocational context. They will help learners to gain and retain a job, and then to advance in the workplace, through development of the skills that employers are looking for: adaptability, a ‘can do’ attitude and objectivity
about strengths and weaknesses. 

Learners may progress to other Edexcel WorkSkills or vocational qualifications or work towards the Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness (QCF).
