The ITQ is a fully accredited, simple to use and assemble qualification for recognising achievement in IT user skills. It is available in three sizes – award, certificate and diploma, across four levels – Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
Visit the main ITQ webpage to access support materials, including sample assignments and candidate assessment records, and information about the Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
Tutors should note that in the specifications there are a number of recommendations for delivering the units in conjunction with each other; eg it is recommended that unit 15 could be delivered alongside units 12, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26.
The delivery of the qualifications could be through a variety of scenarios and evidence could be in the form of printed annotated screen shots.
There are significant opportunities for tutors to integrate functional skills ICT.
