Supporting the transition from existing qualifications to Foundation Learning
At Edexcel we are working hard to ensure that our Entry and Level 1 qualifications are available on the QCF in time for centres to be able to offer them from September 2010. Most of our offer is already available and being delivered across the country and many of our centres are well prepared for the transition to Foundation Learning. The table below provides an overview of existing qualifications and their new Foundation Learning equivalencies/replacement.

Personalised support for a personalised curriculum
Our Foundation Learning team have been working with centres to devising curriculum models that best suit the learner and promote personalised learning programmes. Centres have generously shared their models and these have proved invaluable to those involved in curriculum planning. Edexcel’s personalised support provides centres with advice and guidance, telephone conferencing and bespoke training and feedback.
