This qualification is aimed at learners working at Entry 1 or pre-entry who wish to develop their ICT skills. Learners are likely to be young people in school or college or adults who may not be ready to work towards Functional Skills ICT at Entry 1.

The Edexcel Entry Level Award in ICT Skills (Entry 1) (QCF) has been designed as a single-unit qualification. It gives the learner the opportunity to develop ICT skills, build confidence and gain an accredited qualification.

The 4-unit award is designed as a small qualification to enable learners to gain a qualification for the skills they have acquired.
