How we are ensuring that BTECs will continue to help your learners succeed
You will have seen coverage of the Wolf Review of Vocational Education and the consultation that followed to put Professor Wolf’s recommendations into practice. Whilst this process has underlined the important and continuing role that Vocational learning has to play for 14-19 learners, you may well have outstanding questions about what these planned changes mean in detail for your longer-term curriculum planning in schools and FE.
At Pearson, we are responding to this in three ways:
- Firstly, we are working to ensure BTECs continue to provide the rigour and progression that today’s learners need and deserve
- Secondly, we have been working closely with the Government to ensure that you have the support you need to continue delivering excellence in vocational education
- Finally, we are planning a series of events and communications to keep you up to date on the latest government policies, and how these decisions will impact the further education sector.
