BTEC Firsts from 2006 | Animal Care

The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma in Animal Care are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study. Specialist studies can focus on the care of exotic animals, animal breeds, grooming, and conservation and improvement of British habitats. Opportunities for employment include nature reserves, farming, zoos and other organisations.

The BTEC Firsts in Animal Care were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in Animal Care from September 2010. Find out more
