The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma in Agriculture are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study, such as a BTEC National qualification or an appropriate NVQ. The programme of study can provide introductions to animal and plant husbandry, farm animal production, grass and forage crop production and practical land-based skills.

The BTEC Firsts in Agriculture were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in Agriculture from September 2010. Find out more
