With its constantly evolving technologies, the IT industry provides a stimulating and challenging working environment in which people capable of adapting quickly will thrive. The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma for ICT Practitioners are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study, such as a BTEC National qualification or an appropriate NVQ.

The BTEC Firsts for ICT Practitioners were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in IT from September 2010. Find out more
