Within the hospitality industry there is a high demand for trained people at management and supervisory levels, and enormous scope for those wanting to pursue a career within the various sub-sectors. The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma in Hospitality are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study, such as a BTEC National qualification.

The BTEC Firsts in Hospitality were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in Hospitality from September 2010. Find out more
