The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma in Construction are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study, such as a BTEC National qualification or an appropriate NVQ.The BTEC Firsts in Construction were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in Construction from September 2010.
