Art and design encompasses many different fields, including graphic design, photography, web design, illustration, fashion and textiles - so there are many career options available. The BTEC Level 2 First Certificate and Diploma in Art and Design are designed to introduce learners to working in the sector or prepare them for further study, such as a BTEC National qualification or an appropriate NVQ.

The BTEC Firsts in Art and Design were replaced by the QCF-accredited BTEC Level 2 Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma in Art and Design from September 2010. Find out more
