ESOL (Skills for Life) | Levels 1-2

ESOL (Levels 1-2)

Candidates at Level 1 and 2 are tested for each of the core language skills of speaking and listening, reading and writing with a separate test. They can achieve unit accreditation for each mode. Assessment for each mode is via a paper-based test, which can be taken on demand when the learner is ready for assessment. There is no portfolio requirement. The Adult Literacy National Test assesses the reading mode.
