Sense of audience and purpose

DiDA rewards learners for the quality of the products they produce - their fitness for audience and purpose. Key questions for learners to ask themselves are:

• Who am I producing this for?
• Why is it needed?
• Where will it be viewed?
• What must go in it?

The best outcomes are invariably produced by those learners who keep the answers to these questions firmly in the forefront of their minds when working on a project.

Learners should complete a 'Who, why, where, what?' form (on the DiDA Documents page) for each product at the very start of the project, prior to producing a detailed project plan.
