The Skills Funding Agency recently announced the process for the transition from funding qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) to funding qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for learners aged 19 and over in England. The announcement also clarifies the timescales for focusing funding on the QCF, which were first set out in the ‘Managing Transition’ paper produced by the Learning and Skills Council on 3 March 2010.
