This qualification is designed for learners to take alongside a work experience placement. Through the qualification learners will develop the skills and knowledge to be entrepreneurial. By undertaking specific projects on their work experience placements learners will develop and put these skills and knowledge into practice working on real business issues.
This qualification encourages learners to focus on enterprise in the workplace. They will learn how to plan and run an enterprise activity, whilst working on their core leadership, communication and teamworking skills.
This qualification can be taken in conjunction with the BTEC Level 2 Award, Certificate, Diploma in Enterprise Skills.

The first class of BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship students graduated from the National Enterprise Academies in Manchester and Amersham in July 2010, and they really do have something to celebrate!
