The BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to the Role of the Professional Taxi and Private Hire Driver has been accredited onto the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for first teaching from January 2011. There is now an Issue 2 of the specification - centres delivering this qualification should make sure they use the amended Issue 2 version. In addition to this the Multiple Choice Question Tests have all been reviewed in line with the changes made to the specification contents. These tests will be live by 16 November 2011. It is recommended that centres start using the Issue 2 specification for delivery if they have learners sitting tests from 16 November 2011. If centres have learners sitting tests before 16 November, please continue to use the Issue 1 specification. For more information please see the letter to centres below.
