The BTEC Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector offers support for FE teachers and trainers and opportunities to build on existing good practice. Learners will achieve a basic minimum standard for entering the lifelong learning sector of the teaching profession.

The specification for the new 12 credit Edexcel Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector can be accessed below. This qualification is operational from 1 October 2011 and will run concurrently with the 6 credit qualification which expires on 31 July 2012.
