This qualification gives learners of 14+ the opportunity to plan a business through a structured programme of learning. They learn how to develop a vision, research the market, create a financial model and pitch to investors. Throughout the course, they gain the confidence to react and adapt to change and reflect on their own experiences. The qualification enables learners to interact with entrepreneurs and take responsibility for their actions within a supportive framework.

The first class of BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship students graduated from the National Enterprise Academies in Manchester and Amersham in July 2010, and they really do have something to celebrate!
