How is it delivered?
Available in English, maths and science, the Edexcel International Primary Curriculum has been designed with your needs in mind. It features a comprehensive teacher programme package with an array of support materials to help you implement the curriculum, plus progress and achievement tests that allow you to benchmark pupils against international averages.

Teacher Programme Package
When you sign up for the Edexcel International Primary Curriculum, your school will receive a Teacher Programme Package, which includes: |

 Curriculum framework for each of Years 3 to 6
| | | Sixty sample units across English, mathematics and science
|
Sample units will consist of a variety of activities, together with links to teaching resources and unit tests and mark schemes. Teachers can use the unit tests to compare pupil performance and identify areas for improvement or as a template for their own assessment design. Six detailed sample units will be provided per year for both English and mathematics, and three detailed units per year for science.
The Edexcel International Primary Curriculum is designed to be flexible, so units are not mandatory - they can be taught alongside your centre’s existing content or chosen according to what is most appropriate for your pupils. However, teachers can save valuable time by teaching our units directly from the detailed specifications.

| | Free one-day training course for new centres
| All centres that are new to the Edexcel International Primary Curriculum will receive a one-day free training course. (Please note that this will not be subject-specific.) A full list of training dates will be provided when you register for the Edexcel International Primary Curriculum. |

Progress and Achievement Tests
To help you track your pupils’ progress and gain internationally recognised certification of their achievement, the Edexcel International Primary Curriculum features: |

| Progress Tests for years 3-6
| Our package of Progress Tests allows you to test pupils’ knowledge and monitor their progress throughout the curriculum. Please note that these tests are internally marked. Progress Tests and accompanying mark schemes are available on CD at a cost of £50 per CD. To place an order, you’ll need the CD title and publication code as detailed below:

How to order
There are two ways you can order Progress Test CDs:
- Call +44 (0) 1623 467467 and provide the operator with the details of the CDs required.
- Through Edexcel Online:
- Once you're logged in, choose the 'publications' option from the left hand side menu
- Enter the relevant publication code (from the table above) and click ‘search’
- Select the quantity of CDs required
- Click ‘add to shopping cart’
- After ‘check out’, supply a delivery address
- Finally, check and confirm the order in the shopping cart.
| | Achievement Tests at the end of Year 6
|
Designed to be taken at the end of Year 6, the International Primary Curriculum Achievement Tests provide pupils with a tangible record of achievement to use when progressing to 11-14 studies, and then on to International GCSE or equivalent. Externally marked by us at Edexcel, these tests comply with rigorous global standards and provide certification at the end of Year 6.
