Environmental Conservation at Level 2 has three pathways. Environmental Conservation is a suitable qualification for candidates working as employees or volunteers in countryside/conservation organisations. Conservation-based and recycling units are available. Rivers, Coasts and Waterways is a qualification for candidates working in the waterways maintenance or flood defence professions. Access and Recreation is for candidates working with rights of way responsibilities, or in situations where there is substantial public access.
Level 3 is a progression from Level 2, and is suitable for candidates undertaking any countryside job role that involves monitoring sites, work planning and/or supervision.
