The NVQs in Business Administration are cross-sector qualifications taken by administrators across a wide variety of areas, including organisations within the private, public and charity sectors.
- Level 1: Candidates will usually be office juniors
- Level 2: Candidates may be employed as administrative/clerical assistants
- Level 3: Candidates may be personal assistants or office administrators (Level 3 units involve supervisory, organisation, monitoring and analytical skills)
- Level 4: Candidates would hold central administrative roles in organisations and be employed in senior roles, perhaps as heads of administration.
Career routes and opportunities include progression to professional qualifications and higher levels of administration work.
