The Polymer Processing industry employs approximately 400,000 people in the United Kingdom. The sector manufacturers thousands of products that feature as part of our daily lives.
These QCF qualifications provide the recognition of competence, skills and knowledge for individuals working in the polymer and polymer composite sectors. 

Within the industry there are many opportunities to progress to technician, supervisory or management roles. There are also opportunities for individuals wishing to continue their professional development. Learners may progress to further education and training within the polymer and polymer composite sectors including Higher Education, Professional Qualifications, and Higher level NVQs within the sector and/or other related areas.
