Edexcel's engineering NVQs support a wide range of occupations in engineering, manufacturing and the service sector. The qualifications are offered at a range of levels from 1 to 3, with the Business Improvement Techniques and Engineering Leadership programmes being offered up to level 4, and are ideal for trainees undertaking the Apprenticeship scheme or employees who wish to gain accreditation for their job role.
The structure of these NVQs allows for a range of specialist pathways to be considered, taking into account the specific requirements of the sector. The skills base covered includes all aspects of manufacturing technology, operations, maintenance and business improvement.
Edexcel has developed a suite of Extended NVQ Diploma qualifications that will replace the existing NVQ Diplomas in the new Semta Apprenticeship Frameworks for 2011.
