This updated specification shows the changes to the marking of the internal assessment in Units 3 and 6 accredited by QCA.

You can now: either choose to have your students’ work marked by an Edexcel appointed examiner or mark the work within your own centre and submit it for external moderation.

You will be required to verify your observation that practical process skills have been carried out by the student. You will not have to mark these skills.

There are no changes to the nature of the work to be undertaken within Units 3 and 6.
