At Edexcel, we’re committed to providing our customers with outstanding value for money with our BTEC qualifications. In particular, we wish to do everything we can to support schools, colleges and other centres in addressing the challenges presented by the prevailing economic climate.
To this end, we're working towards a 2009/10 pricing structure which we hope will allow our existing customers the opportunity to develop and grow the programme of BTEC qualifications they offer, and equally encourage new customers to bring BTEC in to their offering as a tried and tested way of improving results.
At the same time, we have a duty to all our customers to ensure our qualifications are fit for purpose. Part of this means ensuring they meet the criteria put in place by the regulating bodies, and these criteria are changing. In particular, we need to understand the emerging operating model for the government’s new Qualifications and Curriculum Framework, since this will have an effect on the way we price our entire portfolio of vocational qualifications, including all BTECs.
