The new GCSE ICT10 is now accredited!

We’re delighted to announce that Ofqual has now accredited our new GCSE ICT single and double award qualifications for first teaching in 2010.

Materials are now available to view so you know what to prepare for in order to start teaching in September 2010. You may also find inspiration for your current lesson planning!

GCSE ICT10: Interesting, practical, useful

The course that is relevant to students’ lives today!

The new GCSE builds on young people's love of digital devices. It won’t teach them about how computers work or how to program them, but it will show them how to use ICT effectively and safely, and to appreciate the implications of their actions.

What to expect in the qualification:

·         Up-to-date and engaging content

·         Clear specification

·         Accessible exam papers

·         Practical controlled assessment tasks

·         Modular structure

·         Develops knowledge and skills that will stand students in good stead for further study or employment
