Where candidates transfer, mid-course, from one centre to another, the receiving centre will need to inform us so that we can transfer the candidate’s registration to them. You can do this by emailing serviceoperations@edexcel.com.
Where a candidate transfer is requested, the previous centre should have flagged the registration as ‘Withdrawn’ or ‘Completed’ at their centre.
Flagging a candidate as ‘Completed’ or ‘Withdrawn’
When a candidate is graded for the qualification they were registered for, we will automatically flag the registration as ‘Completed’, which prevents the candidate’s details appearing on subsequent entry listings.
However, you can reactivate a ‘Completed’ candidate registration at any time using Edexcel Online. Similarly, you can manually flag a registration as ‘Completed’ at any time; for example, if a candidate originally registered for a Diploma decides not to progress beyond the Certificate.
Should candidates leave the course before completing, you can flag them as ‘Withdrawn’. This will prevent them appearing on listings, in the same way as flagging them as ‘Completed’ does. You can reactivate a ‘Withdrawn’ registration at any time via Edexcel Online.
