Our Subject Advisor service, covering nine subject areas, offers immediate, reliable support for teachers delivering our qualifications (including BTEC, GCE, GCSE, Diplomas and NVQ). Whatever’s on your mind – be it a specification query, a question about assessment, lesson planning or guidance on which books and resources to use – our Subject Advisors will be happy to help.

We have a dedicated team of nine people who work full-time as Subject Advisors, covering: Art and Design, Business, English, Geography, History, ICT, Languages, PE and Sport and Science. They are supported by many others who develop and deliver our qualifications.

You can put your questions to our Subject Advisor team by email or by phone, 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Your email queries will be responded to by our named Subject Advisors within 48 hours. If you call us, the subject team will endeavour to give you an answer there and then (90% of the time we resolve questions at the first call). If we need to look into your query, we’ll guarantee to get back to you in 48 hours. 

You can also contact the Subject Advisors through our subject-specific online community forums. You can ask questions, exchange views with your peers, share experiences and give feedback. You will find a whole host of useful documents you can download, and if you want to share documents with others, there’s the facility to do so.
