We offer a range of BTEC short courses known as BTEC Certificates, which will be assessed onscreen. These Certificates cover a range of subject areas, including Business Administration, Customer Service and Retailing. Test details for each BTEC Certificate can be found below.

Each qualification is assessed through one onscreen multiple-choice test which is externally set and marked by Edexcel. No other form of assessment is available for these qualifications. 

Technical Certificates

Each separate qualification has been approved as a Technical Certificate for the Modern Apprenticeship framework.  We offer a number of qualifications for the Apprenticeship, including the Technical Certificate, a relevant NVQ and key skills qualifications. Please note the Level 2 BTEC Certificate is a component of the Apprenticeship, whereas the Level 3 BTEC Certificates are offered as part of the Advanced Apprenticeship.

For candidates who are also registered with Edexcel for their NVQ, successful completion of this qualification will therefore provide sufficient evidence for the related underpinning knowledge of the appropriate NVQ units.

All of these qualifications will be offered at levels 2 and 3, and have been approved as Technical Certificates.
