The International Handbook for Examinations Officers has been written primarily for new Examinations Officers in the Middle East and North Africa, or for centres in this region that are entering candidates for Edexcel’s General Qualification examinations for the first time. However, we hope that even experienced Examinations Officers will find it of some value.
The handbook is designed for use as a reference tool for you to consult if you have a query about a particular aspect of the administration of Edexcel’s examinations. It does not replace the detail to be found in the Information Manual, but instead highlights some of the questions that can arise, and why it is necessary to follow particular processes.
