GCE Geography GE02 – change of duration
From the January 2010 series onwards, the GCE 2008 Geography paper 6GE02/01 will have the time allocation extended from 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please modify your hard copy of the January 2010 GCE timetable accordingly.

GCE Biology 6BI01/6BI02, Chemistry 6CH01/6CH02 and Physics 6PH01/6PH02
Please note that from the January 2010 examination series the duration of Biology papers 6BI01/01 and 6BI02/01, Chemistry papers 6CH01/01 and 6CH02/01 and Physics papers 6PH01/01 and 6PH02 has been extended from 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. Please ignore the reference to 1 hour 20 minutes on the published copy of the timetable.

Error on the GCE January 2010 timetable
The January 2010 GCE timetable has recently been dispatched to centres. Unit 6916 AS Applied Business Unit 1 is showing on the week-by-week view as being on both Tuesday 12 January (a.m.) and Thursday 14 January (a.m.).The correct date for this examination is Tuesday January 12. The correct date of 12 January is showing on the paper listing on the reverse of the timetable. The QCDA online timetable tool also shows the correct date of January 12. Apologies for any confusion. 

June 2010 GCE timetable errors

On the hard copy version of the GCE June 2010 Final timetable the following errors have been discovered:

1.  Biology unit 6103/02 (International centres only) has been timetabled for the afternoon of Tuesday 11 May.
Please note that this unit is not available in June 2010 – please delete this entry from your copy of the timetable which is due in centres in September.
The web version of the timetable is correct.

2. The Accounting paper (open only to international centres) scheduled for 8 June is incorrectly written in the week-to-view format as 6001/02 and should appear as 6002/01. This paper is correctly shown in the paper listing as 6002.

Amendment
6MT04 A2 Music Technology scheduled for 21 June 2010 is incorrectly identified on the timetable as Unit 3 Music Technology Portfolio 2.
Unit 6MT04 should be entitled, “Analysing and Producing”. Apologies for any confusion caused

Timetable amendments

The designated window for GCE Applied ICT units 6957 and 6959  is now 10 May 2010 until 28 May 2010 rather than 17 May – 4 June 2010.

The designated window for GCE Applied ICT unit 6953 is now 10 May until 14 May 2010 rather than Monday 17 May to Friday 21 May.
