Methods of registration and entry

Registrations and entries are made either via our secure web-based service, Edexcel Online, or by EDI. There is no paper registration form for this qualification. Please contact us if you require support in using either of these services.

EDI - You can find basedata for GCE here. On the EDI entry basedata, any Applied GCE unit with option W indicates that Welsh language papers are available. Centres requiring Welsh papers should submit Applied GCE unit entries with option W.

Even if you choose to register and enter by EDI, you should still ensure that you're registered for Edexcel Online in order to take advantage of EDI file-tracking facilities and further services, such as the Online Support for Centre Assessors (OSCA) system that provides training for staff in the marking of student portfolio work.

Registration and entry confirmation documentation

Registration confirmation listings will be available on Edexcel Online. These can be saved electronically or printed out as required. These listings will not normally be sent on paper.

If you send in your registrations via EDI, you should check your EDI acknowledgement emails and/or Edexcel Online to confirm that the registrations have been received and processed correctly.

When we receive your entries, we will send you the standard GCE entry confirmation document.
