ResultsPlus results analysis

You are here: Skip Navigation LinksEdexcel > I want to ...

ResultsPlus is our free online tool that offers you unrivalled insight into exam performance for a range of GCE and GCSE subjects and for functional skills qualifications.

ResultsPlus can help you to improve performance by revealing the invaluable information that lies behind exam results – showing you at a glance how each student performed question by question, paper by paper.

You can see performance trends across different consortia, schools, classes or gender, and compare your results against the national average. Individual students will benefit, too: those who failed to make the grade can be helped by identifying areas of their learning that need improvement.

Skills maps, which are currently available for GCSE maths and science specifications, go one step further into results analysis. They reveal how your students, both as a cohort and individually, have performed according to the specific areas of knowledge being tested. This means that for each student, you get an instant visual picture of their individual strengths and weaknesses.

ResultsPlus shows you how each syllabus is being delivered in simple, easy-to-navigate graphs.  And come results day your students can, if you wish, access their Edexcel results online – not just the grades but also how close they were to the nearest grade boundary.

The understanding ResultsPlus gives you can only lead to dramatic improvements – from insights into how a syllabus is delivered to improvements in personalised learning - so you can achieve more for your centre, and more for your students.
