Basedata for key skills and Adult Literacy and Numeracy – paper-based tests

The key skills and Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy (ALAN) basedata is available below in JCQ format, for the exchange of examination-related data, and EDIFACT format. If basedata is updated, confirmation of all changes will be posted here. EDIFACT basedata can be obtained via your Edexcel Online account or by contacting Operations Management, Customer Services, on 0844 576 0031 or emailing eprocessing@edexcel.com. Please remember to include your centre number, software package and details of the basedata you require.

The basedata 2009-2010 registrations and all 2009-2010 exam sessions is in the table below. This basedata is in JCQ version 12. The 2008-2009 registration as well as September and October basedata is also available in JCQ version 11. All results will be issued in JCQ version 12.

21 September 2009 – updated June 2010 basedata is now available below. The dates of the Level 1 and 2 exams have been amended to commence 7 June 2010.

As onscreen tests are not exam-session specific, we cannot produce basedata or EDI results files for centres. We are looking at ways to improve this service for you.
