Access arrangements for General Qualifications

You are here: Skip Navigation LinksEdexcel > I want to ...

For information on access arrangements and special consideration, Examination Officers should visit the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) website.

This is where you can find information on regulations and guidance governing access arrangements and special consideration, as well as Transfer of Credit, Transferred Candidates and Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations. Forms are also available on this site and are the most up-to-date versions that should be used.

For information on access arrangements and special consideration for BTEC and Edexcel NVQ qualifications, please refer to the centre policies section of this website.

In connection with the DiDA form below, Examination Officers should note that access arrangements for DiDA qualifications are delegated to examination centres as per Entry Level Qualifications. This decision has been based on the principle that the centre is required to have determined the needs of the candidate within the normal classroom situation, and in light of those arrangements which have to be made as part of the normal working practices. The arrangements granted to candidates must not interfere with the integrity of the assessment or to give credit for skills which cannot be performed by the candidate.
