There are three ways in which you can report success and claim certification.
Edexcel Online
Centres may report results and claim certification through Edexcel Online.
Claims must only be submitted for work that has been forwarded to the external verifier. Only pass achievement should be reported.
In line with QCDA regulations, certificates cannot be claimed less than 10 weeks after registration. This applies to full NVQ programmes and the Assessor and Verifier qualifications. It is therefore important to register within one month of enrolment, in accordance with our policies.
Certificates cannot be issued for new approvals until after the external verifier has visited and authorised certification.
You can find more information about claiming certification via Edexcel Online or EDI by referring to chapter 16, section 17 (p430 onwards) of the information manual. (This chapter is available for download from this page if you prefer to view it online.)
If, however, your preferred method of reporting results is via the Student Report Form (SRF), please complete the SRF and return it to the address given at the top of the form. Guidelines for completing the SRF can be found below.
EDI EDIFACT transmission
Learners’ results and certificate claims may be transmitted electronically by EDI, in which case form SRF should not be submitted.
SRF
Personalised forms (SRFs) will be produced on initial registration, and after interim reporting. Where SRFs are lost after receipt, reprints can be obtained from customer services.
