Delivering academic qualifications | Making learner entries

Making entries is the process by which a centre indicates the units an academic candidate will undertake in a particular exam series. You need to make entries for your academic candidates at the start of the academic year in which they begin their study and before the specified deadline. You can make entries for our academic qualifications using a range of electronic processing methods:

expand Making entries for academic candidates using Edexcel Online

Edexcel Online is a secure online service designed to make the administration of and access to learner information easier and faster. It allows you to make entries within a few minutes and receive confirmation of registration numbers immediately. Edexcel Online is available free of charge to all our centres internationally.

Top tip: You can make entries one by one or in bulk via an Excel spreadsheet. Before you log in to Edexcel Online, please make sure you have all your candidate details to hand including names, dates of birth and the specification and unit codes of the qualifications they are undertaking.

expand Making entries for academic candidates using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the process of exchanging electronic data between partners. This is a service for centres that use a Management Information System (MIS) - a computerised information system that's capable of generating and uploading EDI messages.
