Summary
A Diploma Senior Assessment Associate is responsible for the assessment of the qualification and provides training/support for the qualification examining team and for centres.
Purpose
A Diploma Senior Assessment Associate is responsible for the support, preparation and delivery of the new Diploma qualifications. Following the implementation phase of the qualification, the role will reflect one of the more traditional roles of Chief Examiner, Principal Examiner or Principal Moderator.
Responsibilities
- To set papers, coursework tasks and mark schemes in line with the qualification criteria.
- To ensure that the final question papers meet the specification content and assessment objectives.
- To be responsible for the training, conduct and guidance of the examining team.
- To attend centres in order to support, train and help implement the teaching and assessing of the new Diploma.
Experience/qualifications needed
- You will have experience of leading a team
- You will have experience of teaching the relevant subject
- You will have experience of managing people
- It is desirable for applicants to have some industry experience.
