Through becoming an Assessment Associate, you will gain a greater understanding of the range of abilities and differing approaches of students. This will, hopefully, help you gain a greater understanding of your subject area.

Examining, verifying and moderating is very flexible, offering you the opportunity to work from home and fit it around other commitments.

As well as being paid for examining, we also pay you to attend standardisation and training meetings and cover travel and accommodation expenses.

In some cases, we can refund the costs of any supply cover through the Teacher Release* system when examiners are required to attend one of our standardisation events. These funds do not need to be used at the time of the teacher's involvement with Edexcel.
