 ResultsPlus Direct

What is ResultsPlus Direct?

ResultsPlus Direct is an online service that lets you see the results for all your Edexcel exams. You can:

  • see each unit result and your overall subject grade
  • see how close you were to the grade boundary (if you’ve cashed in and been given an overall grade)
  • save and print a copy of your results
  • access resources which may help you decide what to do next, from interpreting your grades to making decisions about resitting or requesting a re-mark.

To register, you need a ‘PIN slip’ which you get from your school or college.

Results Plus Direct is only currently available for summer results.

I haven’t received any details about how to register for online results. What should I do?

The online results for students service is offered to all Edexcel schools and colleges. Your exams officer can tell you whether your school or college is taking part this year. If they’re not taking part, then you’ll have to collect your results from your school or college in the normal way.

Unfortunately, we can’t send registration details directly to students because we have no way of identifying who you are. This is a data protection precaution, to ensure your results are private.

How do I get a new password?

Click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the login screen below the ‘Change password’ button. Type the email address you registered with into the ‘username’ field in the pop-up window that appears. A new password will be emailed to you.

I’ve registered but I haven’t received a password yet. What should I do?

Passwords are sent out as soon as you see the confirmation screen. If you’ve not received your password yet, try requesting a new one by clicking on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the login screen and keying in your email address. Please also check your junk mail folder, as passwords are sent using an automated service and may be perceived as spam.

I’ve tried to request a new password but I’m getting a ‘New password cannot be generated. Please check the email address and try again’ warning. What should I do?

Try re-typing your email address to make sure you typed it correctly. If you didn’t receive an email confirming your registration with your login details, it may be that you mistyped your email address when you registered. If so, you’ll need to ask your school or college to contact us so that we can reset your account.

I’ve forgotten my password and my email account is no longer active. What should I do?

Contact your email provider first to see if you can reactivate your email address. If you can’t, ask your exams officer to contact us to reset your account so you can re-register with a different email address.

I’m trying to log in but I’m getting an ‘invalid username/password’ warning. What should I do?

Passwords are case sensitive, so type the letters in capitals if that’s how they appear in the email you received. You can copy it from the email and paste it into the password field.

If you’ve tried three times to log in and it hasn’t worked, your account will be locked. To unlock it you’ll need to request a new password by clicking on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ button. You can then use the new password that’s emailed to you to log in.

If you still have a problem, request a new password by clicking the ‘Forgotten your Password’ link on the login screen. If your email address is not recognised, you’ll need to ask your exams officer to contact us to reset your account.
