You need to collect your AS or A level certificate from your school or college within 12 months, of completing your course.
If you didn't collect your certificate from your school or college or training, or have lost it we can issue you a Certifying Statement of Results (CSoR).
A Certifying Statement of Results is, to all intents and purposes, a certificate. It is printed on the same certificate paper as an original certificate (which includes the hologram that proves the document’s authenticity) and, just like with your original certificate, all of your subjects and grades you achieved for a particular qualification are listed on it.
However, the CSoR has a statement at the top that says ‘Certifying Statement of Results’ and at the bottom it says ‘this is not a certificate’. We are required to print this at the bottom of all CSoRs, just as other exam boards are, by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). The JCQ is an independent organisation that ensures that exam boards follow similar policies to ensure fairness in the exam system.
If your prospective employer, university or other education institution to whom you are giving your replacement certificate has concerns about this, you can reassure them that the CSoR is a genuine replacement certificate, issued by Edexcel.
You can apply for a Certifying Statement of Results by completing an online application for a replacement certificate.
