If you still have problems after checking this information, you will need to speak to the Exams Officer at your school or college. Due to the Data Protection Act, we cannot take requests for changes to details directly from students.
Q. I’d like to register for online results but I haven’t received any details on how to do this. What should I do?
A. It is up to your school or college whether you were invited to take part. If you did not receive an invitation from your school or college, please speak to your Exams Officer. Unfortunately we cannot send registration details directly to students.
Q. I can’t remember my password. How do I get a new one?
A. You can ask for a new password to be sent to you at any time. Click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the login screen below the ‘Change’ password button. Type the email address you registered with into the ‘username’ field in the popup window that appears. A new password will be emailed to you.
Q. I’ve already registered but I haven’t had my password emailed to me yet. What should I do?
A. Your password should have been emailed to you immediately after registration. If you’ve not received your password yet, try checking your email spam folders. You can request a new password by clicking on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link on the login screen and keying in your email address.
Q. I have tried to request a new password but I am getting a “New password cannot be generated. Please check the email address and try again” warning. What should I do?
A. Try re-typing your email to make sure you have got it right. If you have never received an email from us confirming your registration, it may be that you supplied your email incorrectly when you registered. If so, you will need to ask your school or college to contact us so that we can reset your account.
Q. I have forgotten my password and my email account is no longer active. What should I do?
A. You will need to reactivate your email account. Check with your email supplier to find out how to do this. If you cannot reactivate your email you will need to ask your school or college to contact us so that we can reset your account and allow you to register again with a new email address.
Q. I’ve had my password emailed to me and have tried to log in but I’m getting an ‘invalid username/password’ warning. What should I do?
A. Check that you are typing your email address correctly. If so, make sure you are typing your password correctly. The letters in your password must be typed in capitals, exactly as it appears in the email to you. One thing you can do is copy it from the email and paste it into the password field. If you have tried three times to login and it hasn’t worked each time, your account will be locked. To unlock it you’ll need to request a new password by clicking on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ button. You can then use the new password that’s emailed to you to login, this time making sure you type letters in capitals.
Q. My name is spelt incorrectly on the system. How do I change it?
A. The spelling of your name has been provided by your school or college. If it's wrong, you need to speak to them so that they can tell us it needs changing. We cannot take requests for changes to details directly from students.
Q. I’ve now got my results but I’ve got more questions about what I should do next. What should I do?
A. From the online results home page, you’ll find lots of links to information about remarking, resitting and progression to other qualifications or university. There is also a list of useful contact numbers for other organisations that can offer help and advice. Remember, if you need to speak to someone you can contact your school or college who should be on hand to give you face to face advice.
