The Diploma is a new and exciting qualification that will challenge and stretch your learners, whether they are preparing for university or employment. It offers a mix of theoretical and applied learning, including functional English, Maths and ICT, and the opportunity to develop a specialism or take on complementary study.
The Diploma will give your learners first-hand experience of and insight into the world of work by providing opportunities for them to take part in a practical 'real world' environment.
From 2011, your learners will be able to take one of 14 Diplomas at Foundation, Higher and Advanced levels, covering all the sectors of the economy. They will sit alongside, and sometimes incorporate, GCEs and GCSEs.

We are the only awarding body that can offer you the total solution. We will be providing all 14 lines of learning and are the only awarding body to offer the first five for teaching from September; together with Projects, Functional Skills and work experience.
We have over 500 qualifications for the Specialist and Additional learning component of the Diploma, with brand new work skills qualifications that can also be offered as stand-alone qualifications to non-Diploma students.
Organisations such as u-xplore and Rockschool are working exclusively with us to enhance the Diploma learner experience and give students unique opportunities to gain real-life work skills.
