Edexcel is keen to support Exams Officers and teachers in the transition from current to new GCE specifications. 


What’s available from Edexcel
 

GCE Transition Model – This will help you to view the availability of units for GCE subjects over the next few years, whether it be the last examination series of Curriculum 2000 subjects or the first examination series of GCE 2008.  

Edexcel Online – Our online system provides you with notifications and confirmations at every stage of candidate administration. You can use it to check candidate eligibility, view and upgrade candidate details and register candidates directly. 

ResultsPlus -  You can use this free service to give your students online access to their exam results on results day. You can also view exam results across classes, cohorts and genders - particularly useful if you are responsible for reporting on exam performance.  

Ask EdexcelFind answers to the most frequently asked questions by searching our online database. You can log your query online and a member of our customer service team will log your query, find an answer and send it to you.

Ask the Expert – If you or your teachers have specific queries regarding the content of any GCE specification, you can have your questions answered by a Senior Examiner or Modifier through our Ask the Expert service. 

e-Spec – Innovative and engaging, e-Spec is our course specification on CD-rom with sample assessment materials and other support that helps you to deliver the course successfully. The e-Spec provides a range of useful information including:

  • a course planner to make it easy to plan delivery
  • a video of a senior examiner explaining the changes to the specification
  • a customisable student guide to help recruit students
