Retail is a dynamic and fast-moving area in which to work and can provide impressive financial rewards, rapid career progression and the opportunity to specialise in a host of different areas.
As well as the many opportunities to build a career at different levels in-store, there are a host of support positions – including buying, design, finance, human resources, IT, logistics, marketing, management and stock control. All of these areas have to work seamlessly together to ensure companies maintain their success in the fiercely competitive retail environment.
