International GCSE in Mathematics A: Performance table points extended until 2013
As you may be aware, results from our International GCSE in Mathematics A qualification counted for performance table points in 2011 for the first time and will continue to count in 2012 and 2013 performance tables.

After that, if you wish to attract performance table points as part of the five A*-C (including English and maths) and the English Baccalaureate performance indicators, you'll need to switch to the Edexcel Certificate in Mathematics (the accredited version for UK state schools).

Since there are no content changes or differences in assessment between International GCSE Mathematics A and the Edexcel Certificate in Mathematics, this is an easy switch to make.

If you wish to continue to offer the International GCSE beyond 2013, despite the fact that it won't attract league table points, you're free to do so.
