Who can use Communities from Edexcel?
Anybody can read a discussion thread, but to be able to post a thread or upload documents, you’ll need to be a teacher or staff member from an Edexcel centre with an Edexcel Online account.
If you already have an Edexcel Online account, you’ll be able to access Communities straight away. If not, contact the Edexcel Online administrator in your centre who will create a user account for you. Alternatively, you can fill in our online form here (it's on the right-hand side of the page). We’ll then call your centre to check that you are a member of staff there, before creating your account.

What can I use Communities from Edexcel for?
In the forums, you can discuss issues with other teachers and share your experiences. Our subject advisors will also be monitoring the forums and joining the debate.
If you have a resource that you want to share with other teachers, you can now upload it yourself. You can also comment on resources that other teachers have uploaded, and rate them according to how useful they are. Our Subject Advisors will still continue to add useful resources, too – they’ll have a yellow background to distinguish them from the teacher-added resources.
On your subject homepage, you’ll see an overview of everything that’s been added recently, including the latest discussion threads and resources.
