Continuing its annual tradition, the University of York, through its sponsors, is offering a prize for outstanding work at AS level Unit 3 for Edexcel GCE Physics.
The aim of the prize is to recognise and encourage the SHAP (context-led) approach to the Edexcel GCE Physics specification. Therefore, the award is only open to students from centres using a wholly or predominantly SHAP approach in their teaching.
If your centre is using SHAP, and you have any pieces of work for the Unit 3 visit/case study and practical task that you consider to be outstanding, please enter them for the SHAP Unit 3 Award. Entries should be submitted along with the moderation sample that you send to Edexcel by 15 May 2012.
Award winners will receive a cash prize presented at the Salters annual prizegiving ceremony.
